Book your stay at Health Institute de Tijuana

Health Institute de Tijuana has an application process to ensure each patient is medically eligible to receive treatment. Applications are submitted through the Gerson Institute, who facilitates the application review, admission, and other details for your stay.

Recent lab work and medical reports are required with your application. Once all of the required documents have been submitted, eligibility review is completed within two business days. The Gerson Institute Education Specialist assigned to your case will contact you with additional details and next steps.

Your Gerson Institute Education Specialist will be in constant contact with our administrative team here at Health Institute de Tijuana to assist you with the admission process.

The admission process includes remitting payment, booking your dates, and making travel arrangements. You will receive an Admission Packet outlining all of the pertinent details.

A private transportation service will pick you up from the San Diego airport (or hotel) and bring your directly to the clinic.

Upon arrival, you will receive a tour of the facility before having lab work taken. You will then have your intake and physical exam by your assigned physician. Your physician will then come back with your personalized therapy protocol, and a nurse will explain the supplements.

You will have a daily consultation with your treating physician, and lab work is taken on a weekly basis.

Throughout your stay, you will participate in classes that prepare you to continue at home.

There are also group sessions for meditation/yoga, in addition to individual therapy, and more.

Patients are prescribed adjunctive treatments available on-site, such as vitamin C IV, chelation, and ozone. Additional services such as massage are available (some services require booking in advance).*

Referral/Access to a local biological dentist.*

A doctor and nurse are on site at all times, including nights and weekends. All Gerson meals, juices, and supplements are prepared for you during your stay.

Meals are individually plated in the communal dining area, where patients can enjoy “breaking bread” together. Meals can also be delivered to the room upon request. Your companion will also receive three Gerson meals and three Gerson juices daily.

While at Health Institute de Tijuana, you can expect a calm, cozy environment that feels like home. Our staff is very supportive and understanding. You will be treated with kindness, not just another number. You can actually connect with your Gerson doctor, the staff, and the other patients who chose a different path.

Safety in Mexico

At Health Institute de Tijuana, the safety and well-being of guests is a top priority.

While we have not had a single safety incident in more than 20 years, safety measures are in place. For example, a security guard and surveillance cameras are on site 24/7. We also partner with a private transportation service to escort you from the airport (or your hotel) to the clinic. In addition, no outside foot traffic enters the clinic; only patients, their companion, and staff can enter the premises. The surrounding community also has an active neighborhood watch.
